I think the biggest mistake people make is thinking there will be some sort of definitive moment of fiat collapse. The dollar has been in a state of collapse, is failing and will fail at an accelerating rate going forward.

Anyone thinking they’ll wake up one day and the news will say “the dollar died” is going to be sorely disappointed.

The US has a massive middle class tax base and the greatest military in the world that will defend its sovereignty plus attack smaller nations when it needs more resources. I don’t see how the dollar can lose with those fundamentals.

Any baws trying to sell at this price?

Can't lie, I have a hoard of less pure coinage I've been pondering parting with. War Nickels, 50% Aus,Eng coins, 80% Canadian.

The problem is everyone brought in too much sterling and 90% that the refiners are backed up and won't buy it. Not to mention we hit backwardation and then the refiners can't even hedge .999 fine and won't buy that let alone alloy so unless your have a good relationship with an LCS they will likely either decline or buy way under spot.

I would wait until the chaos calms down a bit and then take it in and sell it.

Holy frick man

Might want to start waking up to the geopolitical climate and the ongoing de-dollarization. Japan has already started dumping US treasuries, China stopped buying our debt. Saudi Arabia is letting other countries buy oil in non dollar denominated currencies. Where do you think all these dollars are going to go? Trump's dovish reduce interest rate go willy nilly on quantitative easing is going to blow M2 out of the water.

You poor summer child have no idea the evil that is coming your way.

People have been threatening the demise of the dollar for a long time. I’ve been hearing that for a long time. It’s still here! So who’s right?

I’m pointing out the US has the tools to keep the dollar strong if they so decide. Whether it continues to defend the dollar’s strength is not up to me.

You can still transact in it but saying “it’s still here” is kind of disingenuous in the context of this conversation. Gold is well over $4k and crushing equities while swallowing the bond market, silver is on its way to $100+ and bitcoin has a $2T market cap. The s&p is the de facto national savings account. Our money is broken. Everything you’ve been hearing for a long time has been right.

The entire world is drowning in debt because of the Babylonian debt slavery.

Do you not realize the dollar has lost over 97% of its purchasing power since the Federal Reserve came along? Just because the DXY is not in the tank just means we are the least sick horse in the glue factory. We will absolutely still be turned into glue. ALL fiat currencies crater in the end throughout history.

More winning today. I like seeing the price hold even as the overall market pulls back.

Went to a pawn shop this morning looking for silver rounds. They’re even more expensive than online prices.

Here come the riggers!

AI baw released his video a couple of hours early but they went thermonuclear on the paper contracts in the CME and now we're skiing downhill.

Sure would be nice to close above $62 after the rigging madness.

Todays close is $5 above the 21-day moving average and $10 above the 50-day.

I have to think it will retrace down to maybe $55-ish.

It did. It was funny when he said if the Chinese and Indians notice what the manipulators did, over the weekend. They both watch the USA's moves like a hawk. They are OG BRICS.

Gold to silver ratio has dropped to right below 70:1. It seems like it was 88-89:1 a month ago.
