It still has me shaking. I ended up doing okay on it (67.5, easily improvable to 75-80 based on the questions I dicked around on and the time I had left), but my confidence is definitely rattled. I keep forgetting those fricking bond formulas too.

Yeah I might have to do that. I presume you're completely through all l2 stuff now? Thoughts relative to l1? Relative to what people say it is relative to l1? Feel like you've learned a lot more/become a better analyst? Odds of passing?

A lot more interesting
a lot more material I have never even seen
a lot more time consuming, mostly due to the fact that you can't blaze through any of it.
Definitely gained a lot of knowledge.
Econ and fixed income were both great. Derivatives was a bitch, but useful.
Odds of passing: I'll let you know tomorrow after I take a practice test. I am still reviewing my notes, but this hasn't been easy.

Not pretty bro.
I better improve on the next one or I am gonna be up shite creek without an economic driver.

I ramped up hard this week. I'm doing a full-out simulation tomorrow. Wake up at 8, eat, start at 9, etc. with the CFAI mock. I've done 3 schweser mock sessions, and I've definitely seen huge improvement from those. Those fricking ethics questions, god dammit.
I'm floating around a 70 (68, 70, 72). I would feel much better if I can get an 80 on the one tomorrow. Either way, I'm going to e-beer you on Saturday from my Evo.

Continue to get absolutely crushed in ethics.

Update
55% on mock 1
83% on mock 2
conclusion: I am going to wear blue shorts and a yellow shirt to the test. I will also not shower and bring a devil may care attitude into the test.

The paranoia has begun. I seriously need a xanbar. I went through all of the mistakes on my first mock and 2/3 of them were because I didn't read the damned question, but now I've got a mental hoodoo on me because I think I'm going to panic during the test.
I'm not good at dealing with panic because I'm super laid back and I don't ever really panic, but getting 33% on both accounting sections isn't helping me out either.
I don't know what the point of this is, but it makes me feel slightly better.

Its called coping. AF doesn't help because you're dealing with such a grab-bag of people. Same thing happened for me with the CPA and looking at CPA exam forums. Its like the poliboard, you only get two types of people, the batshit super-depressed "omg i'm never gonna get this so hard fail!" and the BSD "dude this is so easy lol" types. We fit comfortably in the middle.
I noticed the same thing with my first mock, tons of stupid errors and misreading questions. I've taken 3 since then, and I'm selectively doing Ethics and Quant (did this all day) and Equity and FI on the 3 I have left. Working on the weaknesses. I've got ethics to where I feel good about that, quant to where its manageable, equity and fi i just need practice. Tomorrow I'm going to get my new phone at 10, studying for like maybe 4 hrs, then playing with my phone the rest of the day. Zero hour is approaching.

Pre test - Xanbar aderall combo
Lunch break - slice of pizza, 3 shots of maker's and a budweiser, resupply aderall
Post test - Double down on xanax, hand grenades and a lucky dog.
FSA whipped my arse, but it's because I blanked both time on the major component of FSA and it pretty much made 2/3 of the questions impossible to answer.
I think I'm going to try to get as little sleep as I can tonight so that I can maybe sleep tomorrow.

I'll probably eat an egg for breakfast and a granola bar and an egg for lunch. The last thing I want to worry about is farting like a mofo or having to take a dump during the test. I got rattled on my first mock because I only finished with like 5 minutes left, and the next two I burned through too fast, finished with like 50m left, and f'd up a bunch of easy stuff. I'm about to do my last set of equity questions for tonight, then I'm going to watch the NBA finals and drink a beer. I've been at this pretty hardcore since about 1030, my brain is done for today.
ETA: WYES Beerfest is at UNO Lakefront Arena Sat, I am going straight there from the test, its about 3 minutes away.

You don't want to fart, so you are eating eggs? Poor choice amigo.

I'm so far behind on my online courses. I've only turned in one lesson so far and have 30 total remaining....plus 4 exams.
kfiz, you may know, does the CPA only accept a certain amount of Pass/Fail college classes?
I would really like to do these pass/fail since I have no reason to take them except for credit towards the CPA exam and I have enough other stuff going on right now that it is falling on the back burner.

Does it really matter?
This won't go onto your Rhodes GPA, will it?
