I really can’t offer financial advice……here’s the truth.. I am down about 18 percent this year..but it’s offset by 8% plus in dividends. I live off the dividends. No need to sell anything

The market will come back

Sigh.

Do you understand how ROC distributions work?

PDO paid you $.96 and the price fell $1.18. Congrats?

No, I'm a dumb arse, keep sighing. It was NII, not ROC. Like other funds/ETFs that generate income and dividends don't decline ex-payment?? You also appear to disregard there could be downward market price movement in addition to the distribution on a given date. Over 95% of my PDO holdings were purchased at 10-12% discount to NAV when acquired in the upper 12's to low 14's and held in a Roth, I guess that was dumb, too?? Next thing I know you will try to tell me that that the significant amount of EPD I acquired at roughly $15/unit is dumb although it saves me $18k in health insurance premiums annually due to income tax treatment of roughly $20k in distributions? The Pimco notice clearly identifies that if ROC is included in the special distributions it has to be identified to shareholders, check the link.

No advice needed. Was just curious if you were happy with results. Sounds like you are.

I am down more than you in QYLD and similar numbers in RYLD. just sticking it out now re-investing grabbing more shares and getting bigger dividends monthly until it bounces back.
