I've got Steve Marino in fantasy so I guess I'll follow him. Also would like to see Bubba Watson. But Ill probably just stay around the acme oyster tent and eat oysters and drink beer. That way it won't matter who is playing

The setup there last year was good shite. I'm hoping to get passes there for Sunday.

You're correct about Mickelson. Damn I thought he was more of a regualar here. I do know that the last time he played he donated his entire check (committed to it before he teed off) to New Orleans relief.

David Duval just made three birdes in a row to move to -3
I saw that Charles Howell III eagled 18. I know that these guys hit it a LONG way but that is just sick to reach 18 in two shots.

How is security? Can you bring in a backpack?

I'm not a big fan either. I wish it was still at English Turn.

Yep, he hasn't played here since the tourney moved to the TPC.
The players really don't like this course. The fields were really good the last few years at the Turn. Also, I think the Players moving to May hurt this tourney because of the way it's sandwiched between the Masters and the Players. It's also easily the worst event in the month between the 2 tourneys. If they're going to keep the event at the TPC (which they most definitely will since they spent all the money to build that course), then they should try to get the date the week prior to the Players Championship. The architect is the same (Pete Dye), and there are some similarities to the designs. They'd get some good European players here that way, and a fair amount of the top US players. After Poulter and Stricker withdrew, there are only 2 of the top 50 in the world left in the field, according to Jim Henderson last night.

How do you get it past the metal detectors?
Posted on 4/22/10 at 10:37 am to TT9
not a lot of bogeys being made. I expect that change this afternoon if the wind picks up.
Toms has it going except for the double at 9. guess he put in the H20??

If Duval or Daly are in contention for Sunday I will be making the drive down to New Orleans.

Be forwarned...I went out there yesterday, and the security guard at the entrance scanned me with the handheld wand metal detector up and down, backwards and forwards. And she made me empty my pockets first. Of course, I was the only one in line, so she was probably just being thorough because she didn't have anything else to do, but I couldn't have hidden my phone yesterday.

$25 tickets ($20 if you go buy them at Rouses ahead of time), $10 parking no matter which day.
