Yeah I just don’t see a lot to really be impressed by this Ull team tonight. They should be beating marshall by a healthy margin if they’re really a top 25 team.

Napier built this program into something any number of up and coming assistants would want to take over and instead they USL it with a cheap, USL lifer with no coaching experience outside of Lafayette. One of us though.

I agree. It should have been a very attractive hire to an up and comer type
Supposedly Napier recommended him for the job but I’m definitely underwhelmed by the hire.

I'd argue Marshall is a better opponent than their record suggests. They were one of the worst teams in the country in turnovers lost, yet were still 7-5, and 4 of the 5 losses were by one score.
They are a pretty tough team when they aren't shooting themselves in the foot.
Throw in Napier being gone, and the players missing for the Cajuns, and you had a recipe for a tight game tonight.
