Perez is zero threat to Max. You could put about any other driver in the field in the RB second car and they would do as well as Perez at a minimum. He's a decidedly average, or below, F1 driver. To say Max feels threatened by him is laughable.
What’s laughable is your complete ignorance of facts. Albon and Gasly both raced Verstappen and couldn’t come close to the success Checo had this year. Max wants and gets preferred treatment but on some circuits, Checo was STILL faster. The gap is a lot smaller than Max is used to and daddy and sonny Verstappen don’t like it. Absolute filthy treatment of a teammate that’s given his all for him. Ungrateful assholes

Perez is as far behind Max as Ric has been Norris.
If he was as good as you think there would have been a lot of RB front rows this year.
There was one as I recall.
Perez, to be blunt, sucks.
*And he is the whiniest bitch on the grid. Doesn't know his place.

Can’t handle a shred of competition

No one gave Max competition this season, certainly not Checo.

Norris is not Max and Mclaren are not Red Bull. Completely fallacious argument. Again, go back to what Gasly and Albon did in constant environments - same constructor and same competitor in Max. You can believe whatever you like but to say Checo sucks to me is what’s laughable.
Very good driver who would win a lot more if the entire strategy didn’t revolve around keeping a petulant man child happy

Schumacher, Hakkinen, Raikonen, Vettel and so many others didn’t make excuses like these two do.
I'll give you Kimi to some extent about complaining, but the dude quit because the pressure got to much.
The other 3 used team orders and did just as much shite as any present day driver.

Don't be bringing facts in around here.

Schumacher was by far the most conceited of the lot but even he publicly credited Barichello for helping him including moving off the podium for him once. Junior Max won’t even give up 7th place in Al already decided championship

Schumi only became so benevolent later in his career. Same with Hamilton.
Max still feels he has a lot to prove and still has some maturing to do. I'd give him time to redeem himself from making such dick moves in the future.

That’s actually pretty valid. I’m not basing it on anything but what we’ve seen so far

Tell me where I said Checo is competing for championships. We all know that he’s not. But he is more competitive than any other number 2 driver Max has seen. 2 wins, 11 podiums and 305 points is nothing to sneeze at. A hair away from being the number 2 driver points wise. He’s not a backmarker.
That’s actually the whole point. Max can’t stand a whiff of someone else sharing his limelight. Biggest pussy on the track like I stated.

Verstappen might be able to take a page from Hamilton's book and remove his father/family from his inner circle.
When Hamilton did so he made moves that improved his career and kept the image/team killing.
Depending on what you take from the Monaco incident comment, everyone thinks Max is blaming Checo for purposely crashing. Jos however penned the op-ed and posted to Max's website blaming Red Bull for not helping Max win at Monaco and instead favoring Checo. In that light you have to wonder if Jos is saying what Max can't, or telling Max that Red Bull screwed him in Monaco.

Danny Ric was more competitive despite getting hosed with all the Honda engine testing.

Jos is saying baby Max can’t win on his own so the teacher should put Checo in timeout. The blatant personal attacks on Checo just show his insecurity. Couldn’t win shite on his own in a Benetton Renault where Schumacher won 2 championships albeit the first one was very controversial
The Apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree

Out of Max's 15 wins, Perez finished second in only five of them.
Max can't win on his own. lolzzzz
Perez couldn't even get second in the points while driving the best car, by far, in the field.

That is one viewpoint

I don’t think Perez is a threat to Max overall. But he is more competitive than they would like. It’s actually what makes the insecurity so fascinating
