CAREER Numbers
5 NFC Championship Games
1 Super Bowl
32000+ passing yards
3200+ rushing yards
216 TD passes
28 rushing TDs

Yes, I would say overrated! Please list all of the guys currently playing in the league that has those numbers.

Here are a few more:

1. Became the first player in NFL history to finish a season with 30+ TD passes (31) and fewer than 10 INTs (8) in 2004
2. Became the 4th-fastest QB in NFL history to reach the 50-win plateau in just 71 starts, vs. Bal. (10/31/04)
3. One of 7 players in NFL history to have amassed over 25,000 passing yards (25,404) and 2,500 rushing yards (2,962)
4. Ranks 1st among active passers in INT percentage (2.12) and 2nd on the NFL's all time list to Neil O'Donnell (2.11)
5. Ranks 3rd on the NFL's all-time list in TD:INT ratio (min. 1,500 atts.) (2.16) to Tom Brady (2.29) and Steve Young (2.17).
6. Ranks 1st on the Eagles all-time lists in completions (2,189), and 2nd in TDs (171), yards (25,404) and attempts (3,732) behind Ron Jaworski.
7. Has posted more playoff wins (7) than any QB in team history. Ranks 1st on the Eagles all-time posteseason list in completions (249), attempts (419), passing yards (2,630) and TD passes (18). Also ranks 4th all-time in postseason rushing yds. (362) and tied for 2nd in rushing TDs (3)
8. Has the most wins by a starting quarterback in Eagles history (73)
9. His 22 combined career 300-yd. passing games ranks 1st on the Eagles all-time list
10. Has a 14-8 record in primetime starts, including one in the playoffs.

There are not many guys playing in the league that can top those numbers.

QB rushing yards is one of the most overrated stats in football. Of course Brady and Manning haven't amassed over 2,500 rushing yards... they stand in the pocket and deliver passes with great accuracy like a QB should.

McNabb can go frick himself. I don't know how a guy with so much experience can lay an egg against a divisional rival two weeks straight. His days are numbered in Philly.

Wrong. 17-24 is not the same as 24-0 and 34-7.

McNabb should've tried to keep TO on the team. That was the only way he was going to be able to make another trip to the SB.

I wish he and TO would have been able to work it out. He has some good young guys now, but the Cowboys are on a mission.

How are rushing QB yards overrated? If you don't have a good offensive line, your elusiveness will allow you to make plays with your legs.

I don't feel sorry for anyone who gets to make millions of dollars playing a game that is fun to play anyway.

He is already considered a success in most regards, he just isn't a guy on Peyton Manning or Tom Brady's level.

SFP, people seem to ignore the fact that McNabb was as much if not more of the reason for the rift with TO. They love to blame TO and say poor McNabb when he is the one that caused most of the shite.

You do realize that teams that sweep their opponents in the regular season, win the third game 67-68% of the time in the playoffs.

This is not a surprise and the last time I checked, he is only one of 52 players. He can't block, catch, tackle, or kick. Plenty of blame to go around.

basically when TO got all the headlines and became the team leader, mcnabb pitched a hissy fit about it

mcnabb cannot handle a situation where he's not praised as the god of the team

he's emotionally fragile, on the field, in the locker room, and off the field

McNabb thinks he's Elway. He is not even close. Elway is literally the only player in the NFL, I've seen carry mediocre teams consistently, and the guy may be the best NFL QB ever.

McNabb isn't even half the player Elway was, but peope seem to act like he's close.

McNabb is a black Jim Kelly but will never get the praise Kelly has received.

and John Elway wasnt really elite until the last 5-6 years of his career.

McNabb has a higher career completion % and QB rating by a decent margin over John Elway

Before Terrell Davis came around, how did things work out for John Elway? Complete beatdowns by the NFC. TD shows up, rushed for 2000 yards and all of sudden the Broncos win a couple of championships.

How did Steve Young look in Tampa before he made it to San Fran? Jerry Rice and One of the best coaches in the history of the game, in Walsh, will help you look good.

Andy Reid is a very good coach and the Eagles have a solid organization. How many all pro receivers and 1000 yard rbs has Philly have during Mcnabbs years so far?

A QBs surrounding cast and a superb coach can do miracles in helping a team reach the SB.

Lester, McNabb has had more talent around him his entire career than Elway did for most of his. Elway also got his team to the Super Bowl with shite for talent on his team. Yes, they lost in those super bowls, but he carried that team.

McNabb on the other hand, whined and moaned when he had the most talent because he wasn't the "face".

Jim Kelly was a better QB than McNabb, plain and simple.
