Baylor?
They wouldn't get a P5 spot other than big 12.

Rutgers is a fine university. Well-respected research institution that is ranked No. 64 among World Universities by ARWU and No. 50 by CWUR. No need to drag them down.

Out of the Big 12, only OU, Kansas and UT would be slam dunks for P5 slots.
Iowa State (AAU), and maybe OSU and T Tech as OU/UT tag-alongs would be next.
Of the 4 TExas privates, the Big 12 has, institutionally, the 2 weakest.

Going to 18 and adding Kansas, OU, Baylor and GT would be fricking huge.
Get the B18 logo fired up.

Please- Big 12 would take Rice (and several other Texas schools) over Baylor in a heartbeat....

Baylor is the best school athletically in Texas right now.

They want new markets(states)
Can only add states bordering current B1G states
AAU is a huge factor(all B1G schools are except NU and they were once in the AAU)
