Why go for two?
So let’s say hypothetically you get your 2 point conversion 50% of the time (I know that’s not true but it’s the easiest number to use), here’s the break down.
50% of the time, you will win the game if you score twice because you got your first conversion
25% of the time, you will lose missing getting the two both times
25% if the time, you will miss the first time, get it the second time and it’s a complete toss up.
So you give yourself a 62.5% chance instead of a 50% chance.
That’s not the exact math, but I feel like it’s the easiest way to explain it.

I can’t believe it’s 2023 and people still don’t get why teams go for 2 in that situation.
Saints fans should know all too well what it can mean.

Analytics say go for two to when missing it forces you to score and go for two to tie?
Yes. It's really not that hard.
Assuming you score 2 touchdowns......
If you take the free extra point, you are 50% to win(basically just 50% of the time you win in OT).
If you go for 2, you win 50% of the time by making the first one. And even if you don't, you win 12.5% of the time by making the second and then winning in OT.

So why do you need any 2 pt conversions

Damn Bills have a rough schedule

Tough schedule for the Bills, they could easily be looking at 7-7.

It would make more sense going for two on the next TD IMO.
Your opinion is incredibly wrong.

I’m glad I never played NCAA 2005 against math wizards like you and the sexecutioner

No because then if you don’t get it, you lose. If you don’t get it the first time, you can still make it up on the next attempt

The Kincaid fumble was an absolute back breaker
Going forward I don’t know how the bills can finish the season. The defense is wrecked

44 degrees in Cincy and they’re dressed like it’s January in Green Bay.
