PAC 10 doesn't need to expand. They play each other every year.

i do not think you HAVE to be a member of the AAU, just all big ten schools happen to be members.
like you said, notre dame would get in the conference without question.

Not sure - I do know that while ND was negotiating with the Big10 they were actively trying to get into the AAU too, I believe.
And yea, they would definitely make the exception regardless.

fwiw, i wish nd would get over their elitist selves and just join the damn conference.
i also do not know why the OP spent so much time talking about cincy, however, it did provide much entertainment.

All I know is that any matchup between tOSU, ND, PSU, UM, etc. would be amazing to see in Indy.
Home games are great, but I love a 50/50 split crowd.

I agree. We need to get Delaney the frick out of here before we're allowed to dream though. That dickbag can rot in hell.

I think that Penn State and Michigan are a little overrated in your mind right now.

Decent, though the Big 10 won't add Cincy. If ND or Mizzou joins, add them to the West, move Purdue east. If Pitt joins, they'd just replace Cincy.

The SEC always has 2-3 teams in a given season that can be called elite but they're hardly programs that are year in, year out top 5 teams like USC has been this decade.
That just shows how much better the SEC is. You can't stay on top of the SEC forever because there are too many other good programs.
Southern Cal hasn't been challenged during their run. The Pac-1 hasn't even produced an at large BCS bid.

this would almost assuredly cause the big east to lose their auto-bid unless they put the screws to Notre Dame, telling them to get fricked in every other sport if you don't want to play football.
The Big Least will never lose its autobid. The AQ conferences are based on politics, not merit.
The BE met the standard for losing its autobid a few years ago so the BCS changed the rules after the fact to let them stay. The reason is without the Big East, coalition schools would have a majority and would be able to enact legislation requiring all teams to be judged by the same standard.

and while we're talking expansion, the only teams that make sense for the Pac 10 would be Utah and BYU, based on their basketball travel schedules. Pac 10 North - Northern California and the states of Oregon and Washington Pac 10 South - Southern California and the states of Arizona and Utah
I don't see that expansion happening because BYU and Utah are both in the Salt Lake City television market. The two of them together don't add as much as bringing in a less deserving UNLV for Vegas.
It's a shame that matters more than having a good program but the NCAA is big business.
