This is basically Simmons telling ESPN to go frick themselves. He knows that he is moving on when his contract is up.

They absolutely will.

ESPN, we're the network that took a stand and said we WOULD NOT show the Kevin Ware injury on our shows, but we'll run the Ray and Janay Rice video on a loop for ya!

Team Simmons!

I like the guy and enjoy his work. I just wish he would tell Jalen Rose to stop carrying around that damn baseball bat.

Hardly. Simmons sending that tweet gives ESPN more pub. Hell he probably got approval by ESPN to do it.

Yeah I guess it should be expected. As long as Zach Lowe, Barnwell and Jonah Keri are all in the same place, whether it be there or somewhere else, doing the same type of work I don't really care. I don't really read Simmons stuff or list to his podcasts or anything.

Barnwell is a horrible, horrible writer. He is almost as good to fade as PJ is with his picks

I despise ESPN as much as anyone but this isn't really a good example of their hypocrisy. One is video evidence of a crime and the other is an innocent athlete suffering a gruesome injury.

Golic shows up to work, gets handed the show run down with bullet points, sees the simmons comment taken with no context, over reacts

Hilarity ensues

ESPN being ESPN: stealing a story and making it about themselves.

The story is no longer "What's wrong with LeBron and the Cavs?" The story is "CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT ESPN SAID ABOUT LeBRON JAMES?????????????"

But apparently this type of behavior is acceptable. The Capitalism Fanboys said so.

Barnwell and Mays are comically bad. That's the one major problem I have with the site.

Jonah and Zachary bring the MLB and NBA knowledge on the reg, tho. And Papa Bill is my hero.
