if LSU ran up the score on Ole Miss or something (another galaxy where we have like an above average offense or something) and fans would be thrilled. Nobody would say it was running up the score, or stupid shite like that.
But all of a sudden Boise does it (cause they damn well have to) and all the Boise haters are screaming 'rape'. This has been really funny to watch as this season's gone on.

The running up the score thing has always been for losers and fake moralists like Tony Dungy. I played on a couple of shitty soccer teams and it offended me more if teams stopped trying to score rather than putting in a bunch. Don't pity me bitch.

If Boise approached LSU and told them that they'd play @ LSU for the same price of, say, a ULM...
do you really think LSU would turn them down without at least giving it a thought?

Agreed, I've been on both sides of that situation too. My high school team used to blow out most teams we played, if that happened then we put our jv in and let them try to score. Much better than keeping the starters in and having us pick at our asses for an entire game.
We played one game against a small school when their coaches instructed them not to cross midfield. We scored one goal then passed it back to our goalie who just sat down next to the ball.

I honestly don't think LSU would want any part of that. Think about it.......this ULM game tomorrow is practically a bye week between our tought conference games against Bama and Ole Miss, and Arkansas the week after Ole Miss. Chances are, we'd be 1 of 2 BCS teams Boise is playing all year, and they would be damn ready to give us their A game. It doesn't make us pussies, it just means Boise is gonna make the most of the opportunity given to them.
Now a season opener or maybe a bowl game...................I'd be all over that.

I don't care for Boise fricking State. I will not hate on them for running up the score. Thats the only leverage they really have.
