Even if they win the BT tourney, I don't see them any higher than a 7!!! BUT it won't matter after State Beats them today!

I'm getting confused about how OSU has stayed right around a 9 and 10 on your brackets for the last 2 weeks, after winning 3 games in a row? I know they haven't been blow out wins but a lot of games in conference aren't, and almost no one blows Wiscy out. I was thinking they'd be more of a 7 seed at this point, and potentially a 6 if they beat MSU today.

Buckeye, I'd say its because the wins that OSU have had are teams they should be beating. Big 10 is having an above average year. Alot teams playing solid but not great. Thus putting OSU around the 6-10 seed area.

IMO, MSU is going to have to win and win big in the finals of the BT tourney to have any chance of getting a 1. The Big East is going to get 2 and UNC will get another if they win out, and you can't really ignore Memphis the way they are playing regardless of the conference. It will be difficult but I see MSU at the #2 seed line.

My biggest gripe in this entire bracket is Marquette. They were a great team earlier, but have really fallen since their star went out. They should be an 8 right now IMO

They play in the BIG EAST!!!! There is a HUGE bias for Big East teams.

I'm actually working on that right now. 8? I'd say 7 at worst. They have fell due to James's absence. They played Nova to one point game (minus Nova missing the chance to blow the game open). I am searching, this minute, for the right place to put them.

As for toSU...where do YOU want them to be? I think an 8-9 for a bubble team is very respectable. Let's see what they do today, though.

Yes big time bias for Big East right now.

My biggest gripe is fricking Memphis. I know they are rolling right now, but get in a better conference. Its complete crap that they play in a shitty conference and probably will get a #1. They are playing Tulsa in the CUSA finals right now on there home floor...go figure

I moved them to a 6 last night. I want to put 'em at a 7, but I like em at a 6 for now. I was pretty loaded when I came in last night and redid my brackets, though.

Pisces I personally think OSU is off the bubble and they should be a 7 right now, and if they win the Big Ten Tourney, not likely I know, maybe a 6

Let's cross that bridge when we get there, sir.

I think yesterday got you off the bubble and from a 10-11 to an 8-9.

While I share a lot of your feelings, I don't think we can penalize a team that comes into the tourney every year, it seems, and at least gets to the elite 8, for playing in a poor conference.

The potential is there for the CUSA. Houston just cannot get it together and be the Phi Slamma Jamma of old. Tulane was once respectable in the 1990's. Tulsa was once a scoring machine. UAB is respectable. UTEP has potential. SMU used to be a bitch for anyone to play when they had Billy Tubbs. The times are a-changing, but they certainly have the ability to change for the better. Memphis, in the meantime, is likley not getting out.

I do think that's crap that the tourney is in the damn Pyramids.

I agree with you on just about everything lol. I wish I would have had the opportunity to watch Memphis before today.

I wasn't too sure about this team, then I watched them travel to Spokane and completely thrash Gonzaga.

Calipari has done an amazing job this year with this team, considering what they lost after last season.

Hey Pisces, will you have LSU as a 4 if they win the SEC Tournament?

Yes...even though I have them at a 5 now. I think they're going to get some help.

* part of my strategy is so I don't jinx them

Minneapolis
(4) Illinois vs. (13) CLEVELAND STATE
(5) Florida State vs. (12) VCU

Two big time upset alerts, IMO.

Oh btw, in your current projections, VCU would make the Sweet 16.
