LSU's bitch.
Did he ever pitch in Alex Box? Two of my friends were agruing about this.

yes, when he was at vandy
in 1999he went 5.2 innings 11 hits 8 runs 6ER 2BB 6K...got the loss
then we beat him in omaha with USC

This confirms why I have little respect for Olney's opinion of baseball - he just pulls stuff out of his arse sometimes.

I think almost anybody would have Prior in their top 10 prospects ever. The guy was unreal at USC.
He was very mediocre at Vandy, though. Which makes me, as a Cubs fan, wonder if there's a connection between him suddenly having his career ruined by injuries and what magic potion he got at Southern Cal

his first year at USC was nothing special either

Josh Hamilton has to make this list. I remember when he got drafted and they had an article in a magazine (I can't remember which one now) that said he was hitting balls like 420 feet off of tee and crazy stuff like that. He had no weaknesses as a prospect, he could do it all.

Yeah but 15-1 1.70era, 202ks, 18bb in 138 innings his second year was unreal

Hamilton is a two time prospect if that makes sense

Mantle not in that list makes it a joke.
