Everyone was pretty excited, I was mostly skeptical. I knew there was no way our corners could cover their monster receivers and I knew we wouldn't change our scheme.

I think the majority of people in the stands knew it was mostly false hope. No one around me was fooling themselves about the probable outcome. It was just excitement that things weren't totally a shite storm.
