I meant Alabama -22.5 and Arizona State -3

Isn't ASU -3 right now? A 6 point teaser would put it at +3 correct?

I'm putting the teaser on Alabama from -28.5 to -22.5 or -22.0, depending on if I select a 6.0 point teaser or a 6.5 point teaser.

I started off with $22.00 in my Sportsbook account. I peaked a week ago with $160.42, now I'm down to $116.42. Not bad for a first timer.

I'm 11-3 picking the spread for CFB games this season

I know that...but I am talking about ASU. You said you will tease ASU. They are currently -3. To tease them 6 points would put them at +3. It is not wise to cross a zero in a teaser because you lose 2 points of value because the 1 to 0 and 0 to 1 are essentially useless.

it's all good bruh but you are a newb if you don't know that a teaser gives you points to both sides of the bet

My B.

If I take the 6.5 point teaser, I'll have Alabama at -22 and Arizona State at -3. What do you think of that bet?

:mindblown: never thought of that, although if you are confident it gives an easy W to that tease which is always nice in a 6-8 teamer

Arizona State is already -3!!!!! If you include them in a teaser, they will end up +3!!!! What are you not understanding here?

Yea true, if you are confident, then it isn't a terrible option. However, if you are confident, you should just bet the line it is at to get better odds. I just try to never cross the zeros unless it is in a 14-20pt teaser

Nothing wrong with small bets! My unit mark is just $10. Low risk, low reward keeps you in the game in the long run....unless you are an OT baller and can afford to lose a couple grand over the course of a season

Not here. If I find a spread that I'm confident in I will bet the house. Not the best strategy but I'm on the hot streak of all hot streaks this year, at least for me
