Penn State still has elite talent. I don’t buy Indiana as a very serious national title contender, but I don’t think struggling with Penn State is as bad as the record would suggest.
The difference between the SEC and the B1G is that even the teams having bad years like Florida and LSU still have good athletes, so they will still compete especially if they are at home. That’s basically what Penn State is this year.
