Honestly, I think that Les Miles would have some decent success if he was to coach here (which I doubt he will), but I think hed get us a Big Ten title, i doubt he gets us a natty, but Goddamn it cant get any worse than Mike Riley who ive been calling Bill Callahan Lite, the guy cant even beat a fricken team we are fricken favored by double digits, and our O-line had a 40 pound advantage over the NIU d line, for our o-line to be as awful as it was with the 3 and 4 star talent it has it 100% due to awful coaching. At least with Les those issues would stop since i think the offense that he likes to run is more suited for the Big Ten than the SEC.
My issue with Les is his piss poor clock management skills and his age. But yea, id take him over Riley right now. I like Riley, but im not looking for Mr Rogers to win me 4 games a season with the occasional 9 win season mixed in, I know its not the 90's anymore, but Nebraska should still be perennial contenders in the Big Ten conference title game, right now we are bottom feeders in the Big Ten west due to awful leadership in the admin at UNL.
Hopefully Ronnie Green and Hank Bounds hire a decent Athletic Director after this season, and maybe consult with Tom Osborne on it this time too, unlike what Harvey Pearlman did when he went behind Osbornes back and hired Eichorst.

this is what piss poor leadership looks like. This guy is the 2nd worst AD in Nebraska History, with good ole Steve pederson being #1

leslie only won at lsu because of louisiana talent and for coattailing saban's success. he won't have any of that at nebraska. it would be an absolute disaster to hire him.

didnt he have a decent record at Okie State? I dont know it off the top on my head

hell, even houston and purdue didn't want leslie. nebraska would be signing its own death warrant by hiring him.

the game evolved and miles refused to adapt. he also had gundy as his offensive coordinator.

The main name that is getting tossed around here is Scott Frost. Most here know Eichorst and Riley are dead men walking already since the season is wasted. The big guys in the media wont say it but they know it. The big money donors arent gonna put up with this clown show much longer.

He needs to come back to LSU. After last night, I miss the days of melting and complaining about losing a game because of one play or something stupid that he did. I don't think I can stand watching us getting blown out again. #BringLesBack

Where does Neb pull recruits from now?

not sure how accurate this is, but for the most part, as of late theyve been going heavily after SoCal. For some reason theyve also always had a decent amount of guys from Louisiana, particularly the NOLA area.

That is a tough pill to swallow when looking for a coach.
Posted on 9/18/17 at 12:14 am to TigersHuskers
better illustration here, its the percentage of players on the rosters from each state.

California mostly with some Florida and Missouri. But those are exclusively position players and DBs, albeit highly touted. We can't recruit the lines which makes us a long shot in any game left. Oh and our ex-Tulane QB sucks donkey di...butt

Accurate assessment here. And next week if tanner Lee throws one pick I want Him benched. We have 2 4 star guys behind him and we insist on starting Lee who is average at best and with a poor o-line, he's getting hit all the time.

Not an inside source, but I coached his two sons at U-High and Ben, who is at Nebraska, said his dad has mentioned he wouldn't be against it, but there haven't been any talks at allz

Would Jeff Brohm be a name Nebraska might consider? Not proven enough?
