Nah, he was on the OT yesterday starting shitty threads
I was actually coming to post Crasnicks tweet.
Also, I wonder what it would take to pry Shelby Miller from Atlanta?
Marisnick, Kemp, and a young pitching prospect in the lower minors? Is that not enough?

Hearing #Astros would be willing to package Jake Marisnick in a deal for pitching. #Indians, #Mariners, maybe #SFGiants could fit.

I wonder who on those teams we could be after. I assume he means starting pitching but maybe bullpen help also.
I feel like Jake is the kind of player the Giants would get and he would magically turn a corner into a really good player

I feel like Jake should get regular playing time somewhere in 2016 if he is to reach whatever his potential may be. It would suck to see him shine someplace else, but we'd have to see the trade return.

Astros and #Phillies recently discussed Ken Giles. #Phillies brought up Lance McCullers and Vincent Velasquez, sources say.

Hell yeah Phils. We're totally willing to ship off an important young piece of our rotation who could pitch in 30 games and 200 innings for a closer.

I hope Luhnow asked the Phillies to politely frick off

Somewhere Ed Wade is saying he would take the deal.

Throw in a utility middle infielder with the relief pitcher and Ed Wade would be all over it.

"I think I'd be disappointed if we didn't have at least one, if not two transactions between now and the end of the Winter Meetings...We do need to bring in a few (bullpen) arms to complement the guys we have," Luhnow said. "But yeah, we're not looking for a shortstop, we're not looking for a second baseman, and our outfield is in pretty good shape, so naturally, [corner infield] would be an area where there could be some possible moves."

Would love to land a big 3B but it seems like there's the really elite guys (like Arenado) who won't be dealt then a big drop off
I think we end up dealing for a 1B and Reed will come up and take some ABs from Gattis

minor non-news. Trainer Nate Lucero is gone and Rex Jones retired.

The Astros’ new head athletic trainer is Jeremiah Randall, who comes over from the Pirates and is in a leading role on a big league team for the first time.
A Kansas native, Randall finished his third season on the Pirates in 2015, with the title of major league rehab coordinator and physical therapist.

You know, if we go mega-deal, a Frazier-Chapman trade makes a lot of sense. But I don't know if I'm sold on the former long-term.
Posted on 12/2/15 at 3:38 pm to Jwho77
Yeah I have some reservations about Frazier
He is one that would make sense as far as the price though. And I do think he would be an upgrade over Valbuena

Probably too much
I would love to have Chapman but I feel like the market for him is going to be really competitive

Yeah the Reds are going to be asking a shite ton for their guys. Similar to what Atlanta is seeking for Shelby Miller
They asked the Dbacks for Pollack
