Doubtful. I played college baseball and so happened to be a catcher. Catching from 8-22 years old,camps, many different teams have all said otherwise. Doesn't really matter to me what you believe just trying to inform you.

Yes, with a runner on 2nd a third you can protect your hand because of the short throw to 3rd. I said clearly with a runner on first. I didn't say with runners on the bases. I'm not guessing here buddy.
