Seems hard to believe they’d swing that, they’re pretty much already over the luxury tax for 2022, so they’d had to shed a whole bunch of payroll, or backload the hell out of his contract
ETA: Plus judge is due a contract next year as well

Correa will sign a 6 year deal with Houston but he'll also have to close on Pressly's off days for Crane to justify the salary and years to his partners.

Didn't he publicly state that Derek Jeter was overrated?
And that Yankees payroll would be like $250million between Correa and other contracts.
All of this along with the fact that supposedly the Yankees are still angry about 2017...according to sports writers.
I don't think he's going to the Yankees.

Breggy said that he is training to be able to play SS at an all star level if the Astros ask him to move over. He says he’ll be ready, but will prefer that CC comes back (wink wink).
