You’d probably have to go back that far to find the last time a pitcher gave up back to back HRs that late in a close game and pitched to the next batter. LOL

Can you post a bigger picture? I can't see it well due to my thyroid condition.

So you're saying the first base battle in Milwaukee is lit.

All time prospect

His name is Forrest Whitley and he’s throwing a very easy looking 93.

Vid in Twitter link

I don’t know if he’ll make it back or not, but if he does, I think he’ll make a fine addition to my Blue Jays’ starting rotation.

I truly haven't followed up on this kid at all over the last couple seasons, but this vid does seem to show him in relatively good shape

Maybe the best shape I've ever seen of him, weight wise at least

I would consider any contribution Whitley makes in the big leagues a victory at this point. It’s wild he’s still only 24

Yall wanna get your hopes up and start talking baseball again only to be let down later? Sounds like they made some progress last night and there's another cancelation deadline later this afternoon.

I think they don’t reach a deal today, we do this song and dance on more time a week from now and a deal gets done then. End up starting a week late or so, with an outside chance they play 162, probably 155. My completely uneducated opinion

Same and my patience is wearing with the union. We were told the CBT was the big hold up. The latest leaked details sound like a pretty good deal for the players. It's not as much as they were asking for but the owners have come up significantly from last week. Now word is the big hold up is the international draft

If the leaked details from the players writers and owners writers are true they are pretty close to a deal on the financials it seems like

If it doesn’t happen today both sides will act offended, a second week of games “will be canceled”, they will retreat for a few days because reasons, get back together next week and make up the final ground

They want to shorten the season some anyway, in the hopes of adding more playoff teams/games

I see seasons getting back to 154 games moving forward, so probably not a big deal if they get this thing done in the next week

Yeah I don’t care at all if it’s 154 or 162 personally

The players will very much care if it means they’re getting 8 less game checks which is something they will need to figure out if it gets delayed this year
