Master of Hounds has one race in America, but he steadied early in the Juvi turf. His only race since then was further than all of the other horses in the field. Just saying it may be worth watching a work or two. Don't really know if he's going to the race.

ETA:Master of Hounds was removed from the 2000 Guineas this Saturday and will head to Churchill. Aiden sending him over here makes me like him even more.

I keep forgetting to come over here and check had too many stalls to do today...

I like master of hounds and he will be ignored. Probably gets gomez.

I worry that dialed in doesn't have enough works on him. It scares me how careful they are with this colt. I know he's talented, but he has a lot to overcome.

Saw a picture of Calvin on his mount. He's pretty small like the bird was throw that in to your comparison

If Master of Hounds draws Gomez, I'll will blow a load. I'm just trying to find an angle to play because none of these horses stand out. With his charts, most people will overlook him. I could see him go off anywhere from 20-1 to 50-1. If the closers spot him 5 lengths or more at the head of the lane, it's lights out. He will roll home.

news and notes from today:

Today's Derby contender works included a five furlong bullet from Arkansas Derby hero Archarcharch. Decisive Moment also breezed five furlongs at Churchill Downs and Soldat completed his Derby preparations in Florida on Friday.

#7 Archarcharch – 5f bullet in :59.40 (1/58) at Churchill Downs.
#11 Soldat – 5f in 1:01.40 (1/2) at Palm Meadows.
#24 Decisive Moment – 5f in 1:01.40 (15/58) at Churchill Downs.

Archarcharch worked in company with Supreme Ruler and galloped out six furlongs in 1:12.80. Decisive Moment got his final quarter in :24.78. Soldat will fly to Churchill Downs on Saturday with Dialed In. Mr. Commons worked seven panels (1:25.20) at Hollywood Park on Friday and still needs a few defections to make the Derby gate. Anthony’s Cross, currently 21st on the earnings list, will work five furlongs on Sunday in Southern California.

I try to beat the 8 with the 11. Only had five minutes to look at it but look at the records on keeneland grass. That usually tells the story.

The 11 and the 6 are gorgeous greys :)

lots of Canada in the field. Boy was pretty good friends with the grooms who used to run tomb and windward.

And I'm excited that arch is doing well. Boy made fun of me early for liking him :) after the sw and ark derby I got to say I told you so

I don't know, I didn't look that deep. Usually big fields on the grass yield craziness. I was just looking for the winner. The center on the turf course is where it's at. You'll see Frenchie and Johnny V rolling there.

Just made a deposit and fired on the 11. Going in the gate. I'll probably get killed for this, but oh well!!!! 3-1 was too nice on him.

Did I say Frenchie and Johnny V would be rolling? Easy money. You're welcome for the 64.00 exacta.

I told you, the inside is dead on the grass. You absolutely CAN NOT WIN there. The grass at Keeneland are the easiest races to handicap. It's almost not fair.

In the last at Keeneland I think the 12 has a REAL shot here. He's 7-1. If he runs to his last, he wins for fun!!

ETA: Forget it, just took the jinx from Frank Lyons and the Sarge on tvg.
