Back atcha, Captain 7s
ms :daughter: she is good. I had to get her to the ER last month as she had been having chest pains. They ended up doing an angioplasty with stent emplacement in her circumflex artery on December 11. She’s doing much better now on that front. I had the same stent emplacement in 1997 - who says we weren’t made for each other?!?!
She’s still doing the “non-deadly” chemo for her ovarian cancer. She’s holding her own, but we know that there’s no cure. We’re just very grateful to have one another.
Time for me to get back to work.
Be well, all.

Yeah, I’ve been really busy with work and “things” since the new year. But I do try to at least read the OT during lunch even if I don’t post. I always laugh about something and that’s good for the heart and soul. “Heart and Soul”? I think that’s a good title for a song.

Good afternoon, ms, all.
I’m having a bagel with cream cheese and a lime Greek yogurt for lunch.
Taking a break from writing an opposition to a motion that’s due tomorrow. Thought I’d relax and have a few laughs reading the OT before I get back to work.
Be well, all!
P.S. DPH, your gumbo and sides look delicious!

And he deserved it.
If we start executing spys again it should be by public hanging.

We need to go back to executing traitors
I really can't argue this, but I have to think that his life in that max security prison was a pretty shitty experience. I think he was allowed 1 hour outside per day. I think I'd rather be shot by a firing squad.
ETA: But he deserved what he got for being a greedy prick who got sources killed.

No,,that was "Breach" about Robert Hansaan.
And to you and yours, Traveler!
Trav, there must be a bunch of posters from the old LNST/Music Thread that I’m missing. The memory is not what it used to be.

Meg.
And I believe she married a poster (maybe the guy who was dancing in the street before the NC game, whose name I should, but don’t, remember).
Age takes its toll!

re: Any OTers had surgery for an enlarged prostate?
Posted by IonaTiger on 12/1/25 at 5:16 pm to BluegrassBelle
BB, I had TURP surgery at the age of 70 and a prostate artery embolization at age 71.
TURP was unpleasant for about a week, but the results were great.
The PAE was not bad, but if your Dad has it make certain that he drinks copious amounts of water to get the iodine out of his system. If the iodine remains in his system it can affect kidney function.
Best of luck to your Dad.
