He messed up on the 30-30 point and should have had a winner across the court. For whatever reason, he went up the line and Novak just guessed correctly.

Wow. What kind of rule is that? Djokovic awarded Alcaraz's service game because he had to take extra time? I do not understand the rules.

I think he purposefully donated it to buy time. I am not sure he had to do that.

This match just got a lot less interesting. If Alcaraz can’t get his movement back this will be over in short order. A real shame as this had the makings of a classic.
