ya think? we have done that annually since 2002.

We have been doing it annually long before 2002.

dude we have been in the mix since 1991. we blew two WS. we should have 3 championships instead of one. we have not won a damn playoff series in 12 years. we cannot get it done in the postseason that much is apparent. snakebit? jinxed? idk.

The team is soft with exception of BMac. They really do need a change.

And I can't imagine next year being any different. But what's there to do other than hope it will be?

We're managed by clown shoes. This team won't go anywhere anytime soon.

The way Fredi Gonzalez managed this series is worth getting fired. Couldn't have been luckier in this game and still lost. I don't see us ever winning it all with him as manager. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Can't believe we wasted one of the greatest lopsided outings ever by Freddy Garcia. I should feel bad, but the same logic that started him, kept Kimbrel in the bullpen and therefore doomed us.

And lo with one swing of his mighty longsword, Chris Burke sent the Atlanta Braves into a decade of futility.

another wasted winning season. another wasted division title. have not won a playoff series since 2001. shameful.

BS!

Atl went wire-to-wire sans one day, broke the jinx vs Wash, is young, still a bit uneven, and was against a better loaded salaried team.

Losing series to All-Star DBacks, then three 3-2 series losses to veteran Giant, Cub, Astro, then to champ SF this last decade, where against loaded teams as an underdog isn't the same as when squandering away some 1990s opportunities, some as the chalk, some against better Yankee and BlueJay teams despite the Atl pitching hype,etc..

I'm no Brave apologist, but Kershaw took his lumps vs Phillies twice in NLCS, it was their and his time. Young Braves still 'in the process'..

Still lacking those frontline ace horses Schilling talks of for Playoff pitching..still like last year with too much feast or famine HR/SO lack of station-to-station contact hitting,etc..

This was a successful year for Atlanta, reestablishing NL East dominance..a very good year.

Except the whole worst manager in baseball thing. That's going to be a big problem.

If he learns from his mistakes then it can be a positive. I admittedly dont follow the Braves as much as the NL central teams.

Jury is still out on Matheny for me as well and if we are in the same boat as you all looking in at the NLCS from the outside his decision to start Lynn in game 2 will go down as a HUGE error.

Fredi should be SO happy anyone with brain isn't GM. cause if they were, he'd hit the tunnel and hear, 'you're fired.'
