The SEC is the most comically overrated conference of all time this season.

People still have conference pride? That died with me after Bama's 2nd title. If LSU isn't winning, I want everyone else to lose.

This is where I’ve been for quite some time.

It was fun back in the 2000’s when the SEC was clearly not as respected as it should have been.

Hasn’t been that way in a pretty long time and I will very very rarely root for a team simply because they are in the sec. Hell these days I’m more likely to root AGAINST a team because I don’t want a team LSU directly competes against having success.

When is the last time a conference who was thought to be significantly deeper and better than any laid an egg like this? 7 of the top 14 teams are SEC, they got over 40% of the playoff spots and still failed to play for a national title after getting beat by everyone in bowl season.

Turds like Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, and LSU were all ranked, some as high as top 5.

What a weird way to say 5 teams got in & 4 of them had to play each other

They could have had 3 in the semifinals and filled both championship spots. They got 1 semi finalist and zero finalists

This a league that occupied 10 of the preseason AP Top 25.

It’s just not fair they have to play one another!

Was anyone expecting Bama or OU to make a run? Indiana still exists

Last year none of the top 4 made the semis and the 8 seed won it.

This year 1 of the top 4 seeds made it and the 10 seed is playing for it all.

Are you going to tell me Miami was expected to come out of that half the bracket?

The SEC does not play defense anymore. Look at the scores and the stops that SEC teams don’t get at end of games. The SEC has become what they use to make fun of the Big 12 being - all offense and no defense. Other conferences may not have “marquee” offensive names but they play offense and defense. The SEC needs to get to work and realize they are being put coached.

SEC needs to find some teams that have concurrently good OL & QB play. We haven't had much of it in recent years. The better B10 teams (& 2025 Miami) are outpacing us there.
