Not condoning it but this will not effect him or the reds at all. He's not playing and hopefully they weren't going to rush him back.

I cant say I'm surprised. All this does is guarantee that Chapman sees the big league team this year.

I'm sure he will appeal, hopefully there is some prescribed medical link to this.

ETA: im guessing this all but assures he won't be coming back this season.

Is Volquez or Cueto the one that had surgery?

In other news, the Reds remain to the only team to not have a starting pitcher record a victory yet.

Even the Astros have done that.

No shite. They have the worst staff in the NLC right now which is saying alot since I would've thought it was the Brewers with their 6.06 team ERA and .302 BAA

And there hitting, well it's only slightly better than y'all right now.

ETA: not to try to focus on the Brewers in the DRT, but I just need to get out how frustrating it is to be almost 20 runs better than the next team in the division and still know that you'll never have a chance with your pitching staff.

Nice to see Rolen back in the lineup. Lots of innings needed by Arrow boy.

Volquez is claiming it was from a medication he took to help conceive a child. Way to go MLB.
