At what point does the blame fall on Robert Morris and similar schools for refusing to pay their players competitive rates and on the fans of said schools for not donating sufficient funds to maintain coffers?
Ah yes, because schools with less than 4000 students that play in small conferences with similar sized schools are supposed to have the financial resources and booster donations to compete with mega conference schools that have 10x the enrollment…just to keep their existing players from getting poached every year.

All 5 transferring is bad. This is worse.
3 transfers in 3 years.

Indiana doesn't have a single player right now either. Portal or graduating.

My hometown (Moon, PA) - I likely would've gone to college either there or Slippery Rock had I not moved to LA.

Why don't small mom and pop stores compete with Walmart on one very specific product Walmart doesn't mind spend money on?

I guess I don't understand what can be done about it? NCAA effectively created rules that legally it had no business creating, and once that door was opened it slammed open. You'd need some sort of federal law (good luck in this climate), collective bargaining, or all colleges randomly coming to the same decision to only recruit people and sign non-competes and somehow have the money to enforce and prove it is not collusion.

They F'd this all up. At first it was get paid to be in a commercial and transfer one time without having to sit out a year. Now it's a free for all. Good job NCAA and your limp dick leadership... I hate saying this but congress needs involved.

Never. The school held up its end of the bargain, financially, it would appear. I haven't seen allegations of mistreatment.

and on the fans
The only reason the players can go out there and dribble a leather ball on a wood floor and put it in a metal hoop is because the fans paid for the ball, the floor, the hoop, and everything else. The Fans have already done more than the players are entitled to - fans keep all of this going, and they get it going before the players show up, they keep it going no matter how bad the players are, and they keep it going long after the players leave. The Fan is the center of gravity here. Fans have done enough. If anyone deserves a break it's the fans. They are the ones that get shite on the most. Schools are constantly telling them, not asking them, but telling them to give more. For what? A bunch of players that don't give a shite about the school the fans love? I wish fans would walk away. That would fix everything with a quickness.

They only have 3700 undergrads. Their entire living alumni base probably couldn't even fill a 50k football stadium. The odds of having multiple super wealthy college sports fans in such a small pool of people who went to a private school that isn't really focused on athletics is extremely low.
