He’s taking a big risk to his NFL stock by trying to come back to Ole Miss.

New head coach and pretty much a completely new offensive staff. No guarantee he looks as good in a completely new system and his stock doesn’t have much room to get better from what he did this season.

Are these fools under the impression that the revenue sharing contracts with players are supposed to be some sort of confidential information? The school can’t try to keep it private because of compliance with the revenue sharing salary cap.
Chicken better not shut the CC board down right when we're about to make a push to bring the general back home

ETA: missed that this is a football hire. But bring back WW anyway

He recognized him while driving?! Wow, thats really impressive in of itself.

Look at the truck in the video. Seems like that hard top over the bed would make it pretty easy to recognize the vehicle for someone who was familiar with the guy

Yep. I think the main players involved with this got busted because they had family or friends place wagers on very particular prop bets like rebounds or player points. When those random bets kept coming in it threw up a red flag.

You can find a bet on pretty much any stat for any player in any game. It has gotten out of hand.

Crazy. I don't really mess with sports betting except for some prop bets for fun on the Super Bowl. Had no clue that there were prop betting lines on random obscure players for small conference schools. Always assumed the player prop bets were typically key players and/or higher profile games.

Get rid of the bullshite prop bets and most of the problem goes away.

Are there really prop bet lines for players that average single digit points per game on bottom feeder teams in some of the lowest tier conferences in D-1?
If he wants to play for a title contender or improve his potential to be drafted, Oregon is a much better situation than Nebraska. Even if he’s got to redshirt and be the backup for a year.

Miami hasn't even won a conference championship since they joined the ACC in 2004

Both can be true.

I hate what the portal and NIL has done to college football. But if that's going to be the game going forward, I want LSU to be the best at playing that game.

Realistically they have no chance at the playoffs the first year of a change this big.

None at all. Absolutely zero chance that a new coach comes in, brings in a bunch of transfers, turns things around and makes the playoffs in year 1.

If you have rental car coverage, get insurance to set you up with Enterprise or whoever they use for a few days while you wait for new wheels.

Have the collision shop check rotors and anything else that might have been damaged. Insurance is paying for it, so might as well be thorough and make sure everything is fixed properly.

Pay your deductible to the shop when the vehicle is ready for pickup.

Buy a set of locking lug nuts so your wheels aren't so easy to steal next time.

congrats on your insurance going up.

Not for a comprehensive claim

Its too risky of an investment for what its going to cost Exxon to get it up and running. Exxon already got fricked twice by the Venezuelan government and there’s still too much political uncertainty there. Maybe the Venezuelans play nice for a few years while Trump/Vance are in office, but what happens the next time a Democrat or weak RINO gets elected?

There is more to this story.

Found a different article that mentioned he was shot multiple times.

So I'd guess either he was shot in the back attempting to flee.....or that forensics showed that at least one of the shots was fired from much closer range than the others, like an execution shot after he was already hit and down.

Or the homeowner is a felon maybe? Not sure how far that plays into a self defense case.

I don't think that would be a murder charge though if it were an otherwise legal shoot? Just a "felon in illegal possession of a firearm" charge

How is this possible?

Maybe if the OP had more details, we'd know

But I'm guessing the intruder got shot in the back while attempting to flee

Capping them at 10% means less people will be approved for credit cards

I think this will happen

Those who borrow will be less incentivized to pay their bills and more people will go into debt.
Not as sure about this. I'm rarely carrying a credit card balance no matter what. So it doesn't really affect me whether the credit card interest is 10% or 25% if I'm paying off the full balance every month. I just use credit cards for convenience and points.

But if interest rates are capped at 10%, then I'd expect to see credit card issuers cutting back on cash back, rewards points, and other card perks. And possibly increased annual fees. The bank will make their money one way or another.
If you're going to let them play 75% of the season and still count it as a "redshirt" season, then just get rid of the damn redshirt rule all together and let them play all 5 years of their eligibility clock.
I hope some regular taxpayer files a lawsuit challenging the legality of having athletes get exemptions from paying income taxes.

If a business hires me to be in an ad campaign, I’m getting taxes on the income earned from that. If a high school coach gets paid to work a youth sports camp, the income is taxable. So what makes college athletes so special that they’re not taxed for similar work?
