So it appears that Reid has taken issue with the way that Jenkins attempted to unilaterally make arrangements with the league to end the protests without consulting any of the other protestors.
Regardless of what you think about their protests, it’s understandable why Reid would be a little annoyed with Jenkins. Reid “took one for the team” so to speak, and Jenkins continued to collect game checks while going behind their backs and undermining their cause.
In any event, it was dumb for Reid to confront Jenkins on the field like that. He could have been penalized, ejected or gotten his team fined. I’ve enjoyed watching him play ever since he was at Dutchtown and I personally don’t care about guys kneeling, but this is just more evidence that he cares more about his cause than playing football.
