Did I look at the wrong thing? The Saints are playing Washington, right?

I think I misread your question. You're asking whether to play Portis or Ryan Grant?

You are such a homer.

Was thinking of replacing Devery with Roddy White

Well, that's a question. I haven't heard yet, but do you know whether the Saints are going to activate Meachem this week? Couldn't figure out why he didn't play last week. If Devery gets the start, then I trust Brees to get the ball to him way more than Ryan to get the ball to White. Lots of people are high on White this year. They may be right or they may just be high. I don't want a WR with a rook for a QB.

Now on my flex I have Sammy Morris, but I'm contemplating starting Steve Slaton seeing as he's getting the start over Ahman Green. Good move or bad move?

My other options for my flex would be Trent Edwards, Ronnie Brown, or Matt Schaub.

I don't like Morris, but in our league, a good QB will always get more points than a running back. If that's not the case, then what's wrong with Brown? He looked better than Ricky last week. I know they'll share carries, but Houston is playing the Ravens.

If Colston wasn't out I wouldn't have had to pick up Devery

Anyway. I haven't heard anything about Meachem as far as I know he's going to be activated. But I have a feeling Devery and Patten would get more looks than Meachem.

But do you think Harrison is a better bet against the Vikes pass D?

I'm not completely sold on Morris either, but I grabbed him just in case.

As far as Ronnie goes. He is looking to get the start but he was barely effective last week when him and Ricky shared carries, but against the Cardinals I'm thinking he'll be my best option.

Should I pick up Reggie Williams or Ted Ginn from the waiver wire?

I don't know what's going on there. I saw Meachem in one preseason game and he looked as good as everyone thought he would be out of college.

I would play Harrison over Bowe or Henderson. Harrison was getting plenty of looks Sunday night, and I'm thinking Peyton's rust was a temporary issue. I know the Vikings are supposed to have the best D, but Rodgers threw one on them and ran one on them. Don't you think Peyton can do better than Rodgers?

Ted Ginn.

Reggie is still having hamstring problems and Jerry Porter is supposed to come back in the line up this week, plus a better match up this week and upside with Ted Ginn.

Edit: Yeah, I think Peyton can do a much better job. Hopefully last Sunday was just some rust rubbing off. Thanks for the heads up though, I didn't watch much of the Colts - Bears game so I had no idea he was getting a decent amount of looks.

Last I head Reggie's status for this week was still uncertain. I think it's a hammy. Check on that before you make a move for him. As for Ginn, it would depend on what you have on your roster. If you have any Seahawks, then do it. Otherwise, it depends.

Check that. Reggie's hammy made a miraculous recovery when Porter got back in the line up. Reggie is not on the current injury report and is going to play.

Now, the real question is whether you're going to drop anyone better to pick him? Do you have inside information that discounts the O-line woes for Jacksonville we've been hearing about?

He had eight catches and more than 75 yards. And he missed a few, too. I had this feeling that Peyton was trying to assure Marv that they were not ready to put him out to pasture. Good thing, too, because Anthong Gonzalez dropped a bunch of balls. I've got AG on my bench and hope he improves before I need him for a bye-week fill in.

I would still take Ted Ginn if it's only option, but it depends on who he's dropping.

ESPN actually has David Garrard with a pretty high projection citing that he does well when flushed out of the pocket. I hope their right because I have him as a starter, which I regret in hindsight.

I actually picked him up last year as my late sleeper pick....

Really? The projections I looked at had him ranked behind J.T. O'Sullivan. He was 32 out of 32. I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

They say "flushed out of the pocket," I say running for his frickin life. I didn't watch every minute of the game last week, but that's what I saw when I was watching it.

Yeah I running for his life is pretty accurate. Sucks because I was hoping for a repeat performance of last year and now I'm pretty much stuck unless I can pull of a decent trade.

I just checked the flex rankings for this week and they have him listed at 14/33

You know, I think things will improve for the Jags. Not sure when, but I'm hopeful. I have MJD and Porter on my bench right now. Makes me think of last year when I picked up Anderson after Leinart sucked/got injured. You never know who the next Anderson is.

That's a tough call. I would say Kitna because because the Chargers will likely stick to the running game and be conservative with the pass against Denver.
