Had Brady and Colston. Now starting Matt Cassel and Eddie Royal

With Colston going out, does anyone think Patten is a good pick up? I think Brees trust Patten and will throw the ball to him more than anyone else (besides Shockey. I bet he has a big week). Thoughts?

I'm starting Chris Johnson...even if I had my hero Matt Forte. That Cincy defense is weak, the Tenn defense looked great.
My other starting RB is M. Lynch (I have R. Brown, R. Williams, F. Jones and K. Smith all on the bench) - do you agree?

I'd agree with that. I would expect CJ to have a better game than the rest.

Is Meachem playing on Sunday? My fantasy team took a big hit when Colston went down. I still have A. Peterson (vikings), Michale Turner, Braylon Edwars, and Mcnabb. So I need to know if Meachem will play

You didn't take that big of a hit.
As I said before, I'm going to go with Patten. Brees is going to have to look for someone and it's going to be someone he trusts to catch the ball. Patten and Shockey.

DJ Hackett, Bryant Johnson, Courtney Taylor, or Steve Breaston is who I would target if I were you. Taylor is the best option. He's the #1 in Seattle now that Engram, Burleson, and Branch are out.

Ok I just added Courtney Taylor. I thought he would be gone by now. Now, my next question is this. I have Eli Manning playing at St. Louis this week and Mcnabb playing at Dallas on Monday night. Who would you start/? FYI the guy I am playing this week has two of Philly's WR if this helps.

I know it's probably not the popular opinion, but I'd start Manning.

quote:that's what I was thinking because they play a softer Defense. My only reasoning to start Mcnabb would be because the guy I'm playing against this week has 2 of Philadelphia's wide receivers. If it was close going into Monday nights game I wouldn't be as nervous if I started Mcnabb because those points would basically cancel each other out.

Bernard Berrian vs Lavernaeus Coles
For the whole season?

Tech and Keak,
I'm in a similar situation (I asked earlier in the thread) but here's my dilemma -
Brees at Wash
Eli Manning at StL
Thoughts? Thanks.

Saint if I were in your shoes I'd go with Manning. I'm thinking about going with Manning as well. My only concern was the guy I'm playing has 2 of Philadelphia's receivers, but I don't think Mcnabb will do as well as Manning this Sunday. Lat Sunday Mcnabb torched St. Louis defense for 300plus yards and 3 TD's. I may end up changing my mind

And it's that St Louis "D" (or lack thereof) that makes me want to start Manning. Ugh.
The other factor to consider is that Shockey is my TE. I'd imagine that with the loss of Colston, Shockey will become his favorite target, especially in the red zone. If Brees hits Shockey, it's money for me.
I'll wait until Saturday or Sunday before making any changes. Thanks.
