I bet you would have done a better job translating. She looked completely lost at times.

My Russian is still a work in progress. I couldn't understand her worth a damn... she was doing a poor job annunciating and speaking way too fast.

Fedor took some huge shots. Nobody else would have made it through that but Fedor.

ummmm you do know that can only be accomplished in Japan right now? not that fedor would have a problem with that. but you can forget about barnett fighting in the states for now.

Dream is in Japan isn't it?

I just want to see Fedor fight a guy that I consider top 2 or 3 in the HW division when he fights them. I beleive he is the best guy right now......dude is fricking sick. Just really sucks that he always fights a guy where you say "yeah, but it was only Brett Rogers" afterward. Beating Brock and Barnett would be "retire if he wants to" material in my opinion.

Overeem is juiced to the GILLS. Believe that. There is no doubt. That is the ONLY reason he keeps fighting overseas. He is going to have to fight quickly once he gets clean because he is going to deflate like a popped balloon once he stops juicing.

That said, a juiced up Overeem is a VERY dangerous fighter.

True, Noguerria or however you spell his name can take TONS of shots. I remember when Fedor fought him in pride.

I was SOOO stoked about the Barnett fight. Had a 5th row ticket ready the day Barnett pulled out.

I really want to see him fight Brock too. Good chance he would KO him. His striking is so damn accurate and powerful and would be faster than anything Brock has ever seen. Going for a sub against Brock would be VERY VERY dangerous with Lesnar's size and wrestling. If Brock gets on top and controls with GnP, not many can last (if any).

I would like to see Big Nog against Brock, but do not think he would win.

Do we even know if his nose was actually broken, the blood was only because Fedor just has thin paper like skin. All he hit him with was a jab really, not like it was a hard heavy punch

It was a solid straight punch as much as a jab. I think it was broke, but Fedor's nose has been broken several times before I expect. His nose has been crooked with lumps in it for years.

don't get carried away... They were nice shots, but mostly arm punches. The kind that are very effective but will only end the fight via the old ref stoppage due to acumulation of unanswered shots... They weren't going to KO a heavyweight.

And these guys are professionals, so it's really no big deal when you are in there taking shots. There is never much danger of a guy "quitting" because he got hit a few times once you reach that level

well it's the first time i've actually seen a live fight of fedor and i will say i was impressed. He was alot quicker than i thought he would be.
I wouldn't call it a dominant performance but Fedor is really precise. you combine precision, power and quickness and you get a winner. Not dominant but very well executed on Fedor's part.

Werdum will be next up for Fedor and honestly it may not be an extremely exciting fight. Werdum will want to take it to the ground and will lay on his back if necessary. Then Overreem or a rematch with Rodgers for the 3rd fight if Overreem refuses to fight in the US and take a drug test.

Then (as long as Fedor wins), I do not see how he does not work something out with the UFC around Nov-Dec next year.

He won't work something our with the UFC because his people are asking too much...

If he follows your plan for his next few fights, and wins then there is no way he will work something out with the UFC.

He will be asking for even more, and getting it from strikeforce and the UFC won't even give him what he asks for now
