By the time UFC gives him what he is asking for, he'll be too old to fight.

If he follows your plan for his next few fights, and wins then there is no way he will work something out with the UFC.

I think UFC would pretty much cave to whatever Fedor wanted financially. Its the co promoting thing that will never happen. Maybe they could do a UFC vs Strikeforce one time event or something? I mean honestly I wouldn't want to co promote something with Fedor's people either seeing how it only helps grow the competition. I just don't see how it gets done without Brock going to fight him.

Exactly... Within reason they would pay him...

But you will Never see the UFC cave in and let fedor management co-promote a show.

There is absolutely no reason to.

Another thing is the mega fight. People keep talking about if he fights Brock. Well what about after that?

UFC does Not do single fight contracts. They have cut guys contracts before after a single fight, but that always put u under exclusive contract for at least 3 fights.

So fedor, who has been on single fight, non exclusive contracts for a few years, would have to give in there.

The only time they did a single fight deal in their history Cro Cop nearly made them pay for it. Dana vocalized it in the press conference "mirko fricked me."

fortunately they worked it out, but before that Dana was firmly against single fight deals. Now, not a chance in hell

Why was gus johnson pushing a rematch after a devastating ko from the heavy favorite?

Fedor would have arm barred rogers if it was a ring. Rogers got his head against the fence and fedor couldn't get his leg across. Big difference between ring and cage.

lol. See my comments earlier on this. Johnson is great with basketball, but he doesn't have a clue when it comes to MMA. "THE BIGGEST UPSET IN THE HISTORY OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS" comes to mind. lol.

DO you think Brock has a good chance against Fedor? Obviously Fedor would be a favorite, my thing is that Brock would be really hard to arm bar given his wrestling ability, size, and strength. and it would really take a perfect shot to get him with punches. Fedor has the pop to do it, but he would have to be perfect to land one that took that big monster out, not to mention he would have to survive Brock's bombs if he wants to stand with him as well. I would think Fedor finds a way to win, but Brock is his most interesting match-up in my opinion.

We don't know if Brock can take a punch. We know he hits like a truck, can take someone down at will and Ground and pound into next week, but his chin is still in question. Carwin is the first of the larger heavyweights match ups that the UFC has for Brock so after this fight(looks like March now)we might know if he can take a punch or not.

He is just so damn big and strong that it is hard to imagine him being the kind of guy that goes down with even a really good shot. We will see I guess, I see the Carwin matchup going to the ground and staying there

I'm sure Rogers crew felt the same way.

I think Fedor would submit Brock easily. I know Brock has a wrestling background, but Fedor can seemingly find a submission out of any position. I think Fedor v. Brock would end up like Fedor v. Mir part 1. I just don't see Fedor getting ground and pounded into a stoppage like Brock v. Mir part 2. Fedor is just far to experienced. And Fedor's striking ability > than Brock's as well.

i think Lesnar can take a punch, but what i think is that Lesnar wouldn't stand and bang. He would take it to the ground. Just two different styles and honestly i believe that Brock would handle Fedor because of the strategy his team would implore against Fedor. Take it to the ground, strength and size have become a much more prominent advantage lately. Case in point Lesnar, Hughes vs. Gracie. Talent and skill still win fights, but in the upper weight classes strength plays more of a factor

fedor almost assuredly would want brock on top of him

yes brock is huge, but brock still has no submission defense

THere is a reason there are weight classes. It is harder for smaller guys to KO bigger guys. There seems to be a correlation.

Brock doesn't have the best BJJ defense. It would be very hard to finish Brock with an arm bar. Honestly I think Fedor would figure out a way to beat Brock if they fought. But if Brock just laid on him for an entire fight, it would be extremely difficult for Fedor to do anything about that.

I love that Fedor's translator coudln't even speak or understand English herself, nice end to the evening.

Also I chuckled when Gus said how ripped Rogers was now as his titties were bouncing up and down.

I loved the Shields/Miller fight, wish Miller could've finished that choke. What is Shields going to do to GSP also if he is getting bodyslammed over and over by Mayhem?

Don't get me wrong SloFlo Fedor has a much more diverse skill set than Brock, but i just think Lesnar's style wouldn't let Fedor just throw hands willingly like we saw with Rogers style. Rogers is a stand up banger where as LEsnar wants to go to the ground. There is something to be said when a man that powerful is in a dominate position. Of course here we are again trying to figure out what would happen on something that never will happen. It sucks.

GSP ain't losing a fight that isn't a fluke KO at 170 anytime soon anyway. Gus Johnson doing mma is like Dick Vitale trying to do Nascar or something. lol.

Fedor is going to piss away his prime fighting in lesser leagues. Brock would have to take a couple of Fedor shots to his huge melon before he could get Fedor to the ground though.

FWIW Fedor COULD break Lessnar's arm.
