I’d always heard a story, probably false, that the Navy had to Fleet up a female to E-4 so she could be Petty Officer Guzzler.

When I was at the Career Course, another Captain told a story about a female Soldier of his whose last name was Mycoc (pronounced EXACTLY the way you are thinking)

Never been in the AF (have a brother who is though) and I get it.
Have a friend who was in the Navy. Last name is Kreamer. He had to live with that while in there. LOL.
