Curious how you define "project QB".

I don't have a dog in the hunt and don't care where he goes, but I've seen him play up close and in person many times in his last 4 years. He's got the physical make up/presence, the skills/talent and good game sense. I'm not saying he's the second coming, but to say he's a "project QB" sounds like sour grapes.

There's a reason he's the #1 QB in the nation and has been a HIGHLY touted started since his freshman (or maybe even 8th grade) year and has been a starter since he arrived at Dunham.

The recovery time for Achilles tears has improved tremendously from the days of Dan Marino.

I’d venture to guess he could return be close to ready by the latter part of next season.

He’s young and if he (which he will) treats his rehab aggressively while he’s doing as much as he can to get “game ready”, he COULD suit up at least.
