I'm in. Barring any unforeseen circumstances. No later than 10:30 at the farm. I will need your $30 in my hand before we tee off. I hear you don't like paying your losing bets

It's great for practicing approach shots though. The par 3s range from 120-200 yards, some with trees hanging over the green which is daunting. They also like to place the pins where you are forced to draw the ball. Some of the greens are challenging, but for the most part, they are very straight forward. Some slope but easily read. I think that's where I get my biggest boost since it's fairly easy to knock down anything within 15 feet there.

Oh I love heading out to the local par 3 course. That's my strategy for the Amateur Tour this year. Bogey par 4s, nothing worse. Par the par 3s and 5s. 81-82 every time. Just avoid the big number. Keep it in play.

$60 green fee $30 bet and about a 12 pack of beer is more than enough for me to spend on golf for a weekend

That's almost exactly what I do on the longer courses right now. I suck at any par 4 over 400 yards because of my driver (I can hit my hybrid further than my driver most times), but I can make up for that with par 3's and par 5's. I may give in to getting a lesson for my driver for once.

Meet us at snatch or island.
We'll play for green fees.
That's half way for both teams. Or, we can do it on a weekend when you're not on call.

Nope. I don't play when the temp outside drops below 70 degrees and the white cans are above 40 degrees.
