Please keep emoticons out of my thread. Golf is a serious sport. A gentlemens game. This thread should be approached the same way. Thanks.

Who here hits the ball far, almost to the point where it cannot be seen?

Sometimes when the fairway is hard or downwind I can't see where it ended up.

Yesterday, there was a lot of wind where I played golf. It made it difficult on some holes, and enjoyable on others.

Yesterday when we played, I hit a few golf shots that I did not see the end of. Some because they were far, some because they were hidden from view, and some because they finished under the water.
******Disclaimer: all shots were taken within the rules of golf, including any penalty shots assessed

Thank you . So the z chord is the rubber grip part of the club? Mine has a z chord part as well but they don't look like that...mine are called titleist.

Definitely inappropriate, did anyone play golf this weekend? If so where and what was the results?

I believe titleist makes a type of a cord for their clubs.
Another poster showed me how to use the ball cleaning tool's metal bristles to freshen them up as they wear over time.

To whom it may concern: thank you for the info on cleaning the z chord Titleist rubber grip handles. Does anyone have a link to an instructional video demonstrating the proper tool and technique ? I've searched on golf websites but they are filled with indecipherable jargon.

I usually try to get a round of golf in during the week. The weather doesn't look too great this week. I'll probably wait until Saturday to play golf again.

Apply the metal bristles to the grip and brush, almost as you would your teeth, but gently.
