You posted that in another thread and you’re asking for advice from random people on the internet
Yeah I did..it's good to get other people's views and opinions to see if they aline with mine, especially humble fans of these teams. Apparently there are none here though.

Last 2 games they almost beat Oklahoma and at Oklahoma state in OT to end the season last year.

Sounds like you’re answering your own question
Often find if a line sounds too good to be true, it probably is

Lol well I never said I was a professional but I have had good success. I don't bet enough money to be considered a professional.

They are only basing that on last year record and a lot can change from one season to the next.
eta: or a conference championship future or any wager offered on anything with a limit above $1000

So never disagree with oddsmakers? Got it..I'll try to remember this next season.

SMU looks better with this QB.
penalty might kill this drive though.
nvm it's on defense.

Maybe not solely but when it comes to average and bad teams they pretty much use the teams last seasons record as the main predictive indicator 90% of the time and very little to do with anything else other than strength of schedule and b8g time transfers.

It's early in this game early in the season so I'll try not to make too much of an absolute but I just don't get the SMU love for the long term that a lot of people on this board have
yes they have deep pockets with the oil money and supporters and they should be a successful team based upon their location
but they've done nothing to show that they can have any sort of sustained success same with U of H
long term TCU and or Baylor have more upside than either SMU or Houston in my estimation

Not sure what your point is? They kept those games close but didn't win them.

Good call mate. I get weary when someone is so sure of a bet but you pegged it right.
