The best defense IU played before this was Ohio State, and they had to grind that win out. Miami's D could absolutely make it a struggle.

Oregon and Iowa both had top 10 Ds on par with Miami. Look at what Oregon did to Texas tech, who was good up front. Indiana just looks like they’re way better than everyone right now.

It will be interesting. Oregon is playing two guards at tackle and they just can’t handle the speed of Indiana.

Miami is better equipped

For 16 of 17 years from 2006-2022, the SEC appeared in the title game. Now, as the playoff expanded, this is 3 straight years w/o an SEC team playing for the title.Maybe we were getting it wrong all those years of 2- and 4-team playoffs assuming the SEC always belonged there.

Indiana just won a non-competitive game in which they weren’t challenged at any point and basically zero pressure.

Miami won a dogfight in which every step of the way they self-sabotaged but were clearly the better team the entire game.

Give me Miami 7.5

Those of you jumping on Miami may wish to see the prognosis on the injuries to Moten and Mesidor...

Also, keep in mind that Lucas is out during the first half due to the targeting ejection. Those could be major holes that Indiana will definitely look to exploit.

Canes have quite a few injuries along with a star DB out the 1st half. Canes also commit tons of penalties where as Hoosiers don't. Heard at some point during the game that the Hoosiers are +20 turnover ratio. That's very impressive. About as well coached complete team that I've seen in awhile. On par with 2019 Lsu & quite a few Saban teams.

I agree. I’m waiting for it drop to 7 then I’ll jump on it. I really think IU rolls.

Heard last 6 championship game the favorite covered the spread.

Beck will shite the bed and throw 2-3 INTs.

Miami can run the ball....that is the way they win, and control the clock.

But Cignetti has seemed to destroy everything in his path...so he will probably force Beck to pass and that will be it

this is a worry along with Miami's utter lack of discipline. Indiana will punish turnovers and stupid penalties

Line is 10 pts off. Should be -17.5.

Getting Indiana at a discount here imo

Tease Indiana and the under = solid bet
