Hardens #s are the same offensively as LBJ, Curry, and Wade.

No they're not. Lebron had a higher PER this year (LBJ 27.64, Harden 26.36)and the only time Harden's was better was last season(.75 higher). That was also the lowest Lebron has had since his rookie year, and he still finished 7th. Lebron finished with the top PER from 2007-2013, in the top 2 for 8/13 years in his career, and other than his rookie year never outside the top 10. He also has 4 of the top 13 and 6 of the top 33 PER seasons of all time, including 2 of the top 10. Curry's generationally great year was in the top ten, yet still below Lebron's best two seasons. Wade has 2 in the top 50. James Harden nor Kobe Bryant have any of the top 50, in PER or VORP.

Also of note, Lebron's career defensive win shares are 58.45, compared to Kobe's 50.66. Lebron's VORP is also the highest of all time. Kobe's MVP season was only .8 higher than Lebron's worst(sans rookie)year. Curry is 7th all-time in true shooting %, and Harden is tied for 14th. He finished 2nd among these listed, as Lebron's at 48 and Kobe comes in at a cool 198. So at least Harden has that going for him.

How is Harden only shooting 44% when his entire game is predicated on getting to the rim

Completely agree with this. It's not like it's 50% of the game or anything

So we are just going full on crazy
It's in the same realm of crazy as trying to get a conversation going on whether Harden should come off the bench.

So a healthy Harden is slightly better than an injured Kobe.

Pretty sure Kobe had another personal pressing matter to deal with when he was 26 \ from 03 til 04

Harden is really good. He's not going to get much respect around here partly because a.) everyone hates on Boom and b.) Pels fans have ALWAYS hated houston for whatever reason...even when we had T-Mac, Yao and Battier they hated the Rockets.

All of that said, Harden seems like a horrible leader. Talent wise, he is top 4 in the league, but the dude needs to look in the mirror if he wants to get that kind of respect. He can turn it around but right now he is not close to the alpha that Kobe was.

Because it's not

And you act like 44% is bad for a shooting guard.
