Brady's got to do better than an offense ranked in the bottom half of the NFL to even be in the discussion for a HC job
He’s already in the discussion if he gets interviews in the offseason. So this is just incorrect.

Already more experienced that Zac Taylor was when he got hired

Actually, that’s not true. Both Taylor and Brady have one year of experience as OC at both the college and NFL level. Difference is Taylor also had three years of experience as a NFL quarterbacks coach with the Dolphins and Rams while Brady’s only other on-field coaching experience was two years as linebackers coach at William and Mary. Taylor was also five years older than Brady is now and had three more overall years of coaching experience. The only coach I can think of with less overall coaching experience than Brady before being hired as a NFL head coach in recent years is Mike Singletary.

That’s not really how teams view these decision

Sure it is. It's all about the wins and losses. Marvin Lewis was fired for only winning 6 or 7 games a season. It took Zak two seasons to win 6

Joe Brady should be the next coach of the Charges. Him and Hebert would dominate Mahommes and the Chiefs for decades.

Panthers had something like 4 guys with 1,000 all purpose yards this year. Crazy when most people couldn't even name 4 Panthers skill position players

The Panthers are one of the least talented teams in the league.

Also, he was w/o Christian McCaffery for like 13-15 games this year. That’s a big missing pc to go along with being low on talent in general.

Can't see him getting a HC job in the NFL after only 2 years total as a coach, this year as an OC. Wayyyy too inexperienced at this point in his career. He wasn't a coach with the Saints, he was an analyst.

#Panthers OC Joe Brady, a bright up-and-coming offensive mind, received requests from the #Falcons, #Texans, and #Chargers to interview for their vacant head coach jobs, source said. A new name into the HC mix.

Good job

He may not get one, but the interest is there.

He could not pass up an opportunity to be an OC in the NFL, but he will not put yesterday's game on his resume.

He is getting interviews to be a head coach and will likely be one within a few weeks

I still laugh when I hear Joe Brady's name. Joe Brady was Payton's gopher. The whipping boy who would get his coffee. Who hit the jackpot by coming to an offense at LSU where the senior QB finally figured out the game.

It blows my mind that people think NFL teams have assistant coaches who act like gophers.

They. Are billion dollar business they don’t need to give a gopher a coaching title.

Not saying he was just a gofer, but Brady was not an assistant coach and did not have a coaching title with the Saints.

He may have Teddy but he doesn’t have the Ol, Rb or WR that the Saints out around Teddy to make him look serviceable

I know he was hurt for a majority of the year but have we forgotten about Christian, and Carolina has a pretty dam good trip of receivers.

Their OL still couldn't block an angry Twitter follower, and their WR corps is a bunch of complementary pieces, no reliable #1.

Unfortunately for Brady he had Teddy Bridgewater at Qb and not Joe Burrow.
