They won't. They're not going to make it through Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin back to back to back without at least two losses.
And, this doesn't have a goddamned thing to do with the Big Ten or the Rose Bowl. It's about kids who were abused by a person in a position of power and the subsequent coverup. The Big Ten didn't do this. It was a small group of elitists in State College PA.

I hear so much about how trashy the SEC teams and fans are, mainly from holier-than-thou Big Ten and ND fans, that I feel obligated to bring this stuff up.

If this happened to Bear Bryant at Alabama, it would have been even worse. The problem is that the SEC, outside of Bear Bryant, has never had a coach reach the same stature that JoePa had at PSU. So you cannot compare the two.

Yeah your'e right, SEC schools don't let people coach when they shite themselves on the sidelines nor know their own name well into their 80s

Even then, I don't think Bear held that perception on as wide of a scale as Paterno did. Media has grown SO much since Bear and Paterno has been here the entire time. Hell, Joe Paterno was the HC when my dad was born (or maybe the year after...still though).
Bear did great things for Alabama Football.
Paterno, at least up until now, has held the perception of being that father figure, a mentor, and doing great things for the university. Whether it is true or not, that was at least his national perception.

The worse thing about that is is that if PSU drops all 3 of those or 2/3 of those and doesn't make the Big10 championship game the fans/students are going to scream that its because JoePa is gone.
