no one can ride big races like JJ. and he had choices of horses to ride and stayed on.
also, u werent closing in the fla derby, u had to be on or near lead. and he still made a nice run. reminds me of when monarchos tried to close on the conveyor belt of Aquaduct.
And the horse is bred to go long.

I will also play Girvin across the board, as I always do with the La derby winner....but he has missed some training and may not be as sharp as others...but if in top form is as fast as all others

Rain should be done soon. Need to watch a few more races but race 1 was won up front on the rail. Hopefully it evens out throughout the day like yesterday.

It drains really well. I think, especially with 2 hours before the race, we go off as good. I guess there's a chance for muddy but it won't still be sloppy.

I'm also kinda counting on almost dreaming getting very worked up by the crowds and running off. I'm waiting til the post parade to make my bets. If he's holding it together I will bet him.

I'm not an experienced horse bettor so can you please help me out with a question I have? Why do people place WIN bets instead of just doing an exacta wheel? It seems like it's the same bet to me and your payouts could potentially be a lot bigger. I know I'm missing the logic behind this so could you please explain. Thanks
