I wouldn't complain.

I don't remember what I have him at on the future bet but it's a good price.

Won't be a wet track. May be a drying, tiring track, though.

Tchoupitoulas in Middlethorpe Shopping center is a new restaurant that just open. The chef is from a few of the best New Orleans restaurants.

I live down the road from Denny's, I don't even go there. But, El Torro is a must.

I am sure in your drunk state, Tally and Denny's is your go to.

Who do like in the oaks?

Might throw a few shekels away this afternoon if work is slow. I know nothing about these gals.

Don't want to give too much detail, but they have won the Florida Derby several times.

Alright, talking to friends in the industry and connected with several horses running.

Always Dreaming is having a great week...feisty and is full of energy. Of all the Petcher horses, this one could win it.

Classic

McCraken

Still, my hunch is Hence to throw in with Always in a box...maybe box Always with McCracken...and throw Always straight across.

I am not an expert. I pretend to act like one...I enjoy the process and pray I don't lose dinner money.

Did you post that on phone and get autocorrected?

Meadowthorpe

Have you been yet?

Is it in the old shopping center where the IRS is or the new one out by Circle 4?

What do you thing about B&T in CC and Ya Ya on Broadway?

Best cajun cook in LEX was the guy that had Yats and his brother was in the horse business (though a MD by trade). Have not seen either brother in ages.

I have been there several times, still not impressed

Have you hit the place where the old DQ was next to Wincheter Road? I like the mom and pop one where the old Buffalo & Dads was and the fish taco place in little mexico on Alexandria.

At a price I'm interested in daddy's little darlin, wicked lick, and maybe the Matz horse

Accuweather is calling for about a 50% chance of rain all day.

I'll go ahead and tag on my likes for the Derby here.

I like Always Dreaming and a late running Gunnevera.

I subscribe to the pace idea and both of these have excellent pace numbers.

See, I don't like seeing always dreaming so keen. He's going to lose his mind in the crowd and I think that fast and accurate pushes him too hard to hold on.

Super talented horse but he's a bet against for me.

I walked hots there in my younger days, a deep and tiring track to walk.

Plus, the track sits forever before the derby.

I've only been on the track once. I was forced to follow a horse back to the backside in sandals or not have my ride to the airport. Had to hose my feet off at the barn.

Men suck

When I was younger and acted up dad said I had too much energy and would make me run a lap at whatever track we were at.

You need to go more often, what other tracks have you been too?

Are you old enough to have been here?

Lots of early speed in this field. Always a big question in my mind leading up as to who and how many of the front runners push the pace.

The other one that may be up there late is Lookin at Lee. Had a real bad trip down the stretch in that last race and still almost caught the leader.

I have not. Don't they still run qh meets there?

Keeneland, Churchill, turfway (when dirt), all 4 here in louisiana, Santa Anita, Saratoga, and Saratoga harness.

Not really a very big list.

I really need to go to del mar, Oaklawn, kentucky downs (want to try this year), and back to Saratoga to actually ENJOY it instead of forced labor

That's a pretty good idea by your dad, btw.

I have mixed emotions. The spa of days gone by has been replaced by lots of NYC wannabes escaping the city for a day or to interloping.

As a woman you probably got the high $$ job showing while stiffs like me made in a week or two what the woman made in a day.

The old school guys had lots of common sense

When were you last at Keeneland?

Since they scraped Turf Catering they seem to be trying their best to crap up a good thing. Course I still hate they installed speakers and the annoying voices that now screech over them. The least they could have done is gotten some proper english Charlie with a muted tone and better delivery.
