What a great race! Glad to know I wasn't crazy with all my filly sucks talk. Glad also that we had no breakdowns on national tv! I'm drunk and party went well.

The exacta must have paid pretty well. Super Saver 8-1 and Ice Box 11-1.

Always good to see Iona grad Bob LaPenta's horse doing well, with his jockeys waering Maroon and Gold silks.

Go Gaels!!!

Did ice box ever swap leads in the stretch or did he just switch back? That could be a problem

I do not know and haven't watched a replay. Was hoping Jackson Bend would finish better.

I'm too chickenshit for that kind of bet. The two dead studs of my favorite 3 ran well! Yay el prado and maria's mon! And...looks like I may be getting a giants causeway baby!!! (my third fav stud)

My official bet is:

Win Place Show Line of David and Super Saver
Show Paddy O'Prado and Dublin

Trifecta Box Ice Box, Super Saver, and Line of David

Exacta Box Super Saver, Line of David

I havent seen the payouts yet but I think I won more than bet with this. Maybe if I got lucky. And only reason I got the winner was because of the jock.

My best wins were at Laurel a few years back. On a rolling pick 3 I made a little over $1,200 on an $18 bet and hit a $2.00 exacta with a 45-1 and 25-1. That paid a little under $400 if I'm remembering correctly.

I was at the there with some guys who really know what they're doing. But I wasn't at the $50.00 window with them.

I haven't been to the track in a few years. Today made me want to go back.

Best track experience though was when a group of us went up to stay at The Sagamore in Lake George and made a trip to Saratoga, where we had The Governor's Box.

You won on the Win, Place, Show bet with Super Saver and Paddy O'Prado

Didn't win on the exacta or trifecta bets.

I have a friend whose daughter was a jockey (till she blew out her knees). When we'd go to Laurel I would find out where/when she was riding and put a few dollars on her horse. She won me a few races.

Just got my payouts...I was +$58 for the race. If I didnt do the Tri or Exacta would have been a little higher but satisfied with it.

When you leave the track with money in your pocket, it's a win!

You coming to Baltimore for the Preakness?

I've never been, too crazy.

We started going to the track a few years ago. We were at the club ready to play golf and it looked like snow. So, some of the guys said it was a no go. I said, "well we have to bet on something today, let's go to the track". It started a weekly event for a good long time.

Need to start again.

I hit the exacta, but could have made more. Paddy was in my box. Too bad I'm so careful
