The turf is hideous.

Got the W in the continuation game, and SLU is up 10-1 in the top of the 6th. ULL can't throw a strike.

Guess SLU is trying to make up for getting swept by HBU last weekend.

Robe went all in on the continued game, hoping a split. Did not work out. The whole back side of the bullpen has pitched tonight and it's not working out too well. Kind of had a bad feeling about this game, knowing Robe would probably try to keep pitching fresh for South Al this weekend.

Southeastern is prison raping us rn

Frickin Cajuns. All you had to do was soften up SELU for us, and you can't even do that right.

Oh well, looks like it will be a good series this weekend.

Wow, great come back, man.

Almost as good as when arky came back with 13 unanswered points. But not quite.

I chuckled but you blew it when you said points instead of runs. You don't score points in baseball.

Kind of. Moore hasn't been as good as the last two years when he was basically a human cheat code but our top bullpen guys have done well, especially on weekends. Wyatt Marks has been great, Moore pretty good, Guillory good out of the pen.

Would be nice if we could get Colton Schmidt back soon. He was supposed to be the Sunday guy but hasn't pitched an inning yet.

Overall, our midweek has been pretty rough but we've won every weekend series so far.

Lol. True, true. Now that was a good comeback.

But I might've had a few watching tonight's debacle. We'll, more than a few. No excuses, just a reason

A lot of people have taken midweek beatings this year. There are just a ton of good team in the state.

LSU has gotten popped in the midweeks like four or five times.

McNeese has dropped a couple

Tech lost to the Bad News Bears in Nacogdoches

Y'alls weekend starters will be tough to beat come regional time, but just like any non-SEC/ACC/Big-12 school, there just isn't a large margin for error when you get there. Most Louisiana schools outside of LSU don't have the starting pitching depth to fight through the losers bracket in a regional.

All true. Didn't we get thrashed by slu last year? Or Nichols? And then went on to host a regional. Got to take our lumps and move on.

ETA: Just so weird after last night beating msu at home.....

If Schmidt comes back and is as advertised we'll have 4 starting pitchers who can be great. Leger, Lee, Harris, Schmidt, and Burke (freshman who shut down McNeese last night). Not many teams go that deep. Our hitting has to get drastically better though.

I don't think LSU even has that at this point.

I'm just thinking in regards of going up against an SEC school in a regional final after having fought back theriugh the losers bracket.

It's your #4 against their Sunday starter and a nearly completely fresh bullpen

And if you manage to win that, it's your #5 against their best midweek guy and your bullpen is probably completely depleted.

Its just an almost impossible hill to climb for those non Big three schools. No margin for error.

Teams have done it though and I'm always amazed when they are able to outslug those big names.

SLU takes 2 from ULL.

The in state mid week games need more publications. Smaller schools are putting a hurting on the big ones. It doesnt mean much to the big ones but could atleast put more fans in the stands. This state has amazing talent because of the work skip did and the pure athleticism the state provides.

Last in edu and whoop you in any sport but basketball. im done.

Cajuns did it in 2014

Lost the opening game of the regional to Jackson State. Ended up beating Miss State twice to go to the super regional.
