Voter fatigue is such a bullshite reason to win mvp

You are correct, but at the same time you have to acknowledge that it is a thing. Similar to when a top player puts up really good stats, but not the best, and the voters give them the career MVP votes over a more deserving younger guy because that guy has more time to win one later. It's a BS reason, but it does happen (not relevant this year as all of the leaders are relatively young).

That's because the Bills like to spam Allen running the ball near the goal line
Ok

Let’s take away Allen’s goal line rushing tds from 2023

Allen total tds 46

Lamar 29

This is why Josh is the favorite. Lamar didn’t deserve it last year and the media is trying to make up for that mistake.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but that would be par for the course for the media. I have no problem at all with Allen winning, but, objectively, it should go to Lamar.

It’s a 2 man race between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.

I think another reason Allen gets it is how much better he’s been in the playoffs.

I agree. And it’s not really close (which hurts to type as a once dyed in the wool Lamar hater). The only thing Josh has on Lamar is beating the Chiefs. Beating the Chiefs is now enough to win you the MVP apparently.

And the fact that Josh Allen has a bottom 5 supporting cast for a QB and is still putting up elite numbers and winning games with it

Oh, and beating the Lions too

Josh became the favorite after beating the Chiefs. Before the game Lamar was the favorite.

It's a thread that has generated a healthy discussion.

I'm sorry I didn't make it as good as your shite uniforms threads mate.

Be honest though, who would you take between the two if the season is on the line?

As a Chiefs fan I’d rather the play the ravens in the AFCCG than the Bills. But the MVP is about the best statistical regular season. Lamar is ridiculous this season. And I HATE having to type that.
