re: Taysom Hill replacement

Don't know how you replace a guy that played 18.68% of the offensive stats last year (11th most amongst all RBs/WRs/TEs) and his 4.8 touches per game average

There are rules.
There is definitely an unpatriotic aspect to the decision, but at the same time "is there a reason they are competing for a different country?" I don't recall the reason for Gu, but Mondo represents Sweeden because there are not as many hurdles to making the Swedish track team as there is for the US. There are a number of basketball players that compete for other countries because they could not make the US basketball team and have dual citizenships. Are we denouncing and "kicking them out" as well?

I had a general handyman install mine. Did not DIY because we wanted to run the duct to the soffit, and it was a PITA location plus I needed to run an extra wire.
He did tell me next time he has to do this type of job, he'll start charging a little extra and just "accidently" go through the ceiling and offer to fix that for free

re: How did Hillary never meet Epstein when he set up the Clinton foundation?
Posted by Weekend Warrior79 on 3/3/26 at 10:15 am to Louisianalabguy
She's answering the question exactly how it was asked, which is what you're supposed to do in a deposition.
If she was asked about meeting Epstein, that typically implies an in-person meeting. Hillary & Epstein do not need to be in the same room to set up a foundation/business. Hell, they don't even have to be in the same room to attend monthly board meetings. I spent 2 years working with a business broker and a banker to negotiate buying a business from my old boss who was looking to retire. There were times that we were having multiple conversations a day over a period of several weeks. I have never met either person, in person and have only seen their face 1-2 times on a team's call. So, if the interpretation is "meet in-person" I could take a deposition and legally say I have never met them

I don’t know what it is about women that makes them leave wet dish rags in the sink but it seems to be a universal trait. It’s drives me absolutely insane. Those things start to stink after a few hours and I see red every the I see a wet rag in the sink.
They are saving it for the next time they need to wash a dish or dry the counter. Ignore the fact that they just get a new one the next time and put it right next to the old one.

- Todd said the best players in the draft are a guard, safety, off the ball linebacker and a running back.
- The theme from the GMs was there are blue chip prospects but it’s at positions that you usually don’t use a premium draft pick on.
Is this implying that we should see some players at non-premium positions get drafted much higher than usual because the traditional premium positions do not have the proper "value". Or will we still see the standard reaches because if you are drafting in this range, that is when you take these positions?
quote:
One GM said this draft will force people to be in line with their coaches and coordinators because there’s a lot of talented players that need to fit in the right scheme.
No clue who said this, but I wonder if this is a GM that typically oversees teams drafting at the top of the draft.
re: Free Agency news and rumors; tampering period opens March 9 (Etienne -> Saints?)
Posted by Weekend Warrior79 on 3/3/26 at 9:31 am to Proximo
Now that the rumor is out there, I am looking forward to the posts about how the team sucks, and we can't afford anyone because of cap mismanagement if Etienne signs elsewhere.
And, if they do manage to sign him, how the team overpaid because no one else really wanted him

It's one of those grades where you have to take it with a grain of salt. Many players only know 1 organization and/or HC; and majority only know a handful. So, they can only grade them based on the little information they know and how they feel about those organizations/coaches. They aren't necessarily grading Quinn/Morris against Payton/Harbaugh.

I suspect it will continue for now. They will most likely begin the process with maintaining both platforms but now offering a bundle. Then after a while, you will be able to use one platform to access both libraries. Then they will eventually shutdown one of the platforms.
When they start the cross-platform conversions, you may begin to see notices about changes to your free HBO Max plans.
During this time, you will also begin to see AT&T make adjustments to their various fiber plans. Most likely with the ultimate plan of doing away with the free HBO options or increasing the costs of the plans to compensate for their additional costs. Your plan may be protected as long as you do not make any changes, or the changes they make do not make your plan useless forcing you into a new plan.
*I have no insight to the operations of these networks or phones; I just saw similar evolutions with the free Disney+/Hulu/ESPN through certain Verizon plans. I was, and still am, locked in for all 3 for free through my plan, but we were getting those notices on my wife's plans, and they flat out told me the second I change plans I lose my free Disney+/Hulu/ESPN

Day has apparently made it harder to get them and less stickers are appearing on player's helmets. Someone actually complained about it last season
The fact that someone complained about not getting enough stickers :rotflmao:
Do you know if it's an across-the-board benchmark for each game (anyone that has 100 rushing/receiving yards); or does it progressively get more difficult as the player's progress. This group gets a sticker for 150+ yards, this group for 100+ yard games, 75+ yards... Tiers based on number of expected opportunities, as well as making it more difficult for players that already received stickers to try to make them achieve more

The biggest mistake in twenty years by Loomis was playing it safe in the DA hire.
If it wasn't so sad, it would be hysterical. How are you overly aggressive with your roster, draft picks, cap space..., but you take "the safe" pick with your HC?

And Mahomes.
If Sean doesn't get antsy and call Mahomes to let him know they are planning to take him, Mahomes doesn't call Andy (or was it Nagy).
Did recently see an interview where Sean admitted he had Mahomes & Latt in the same grouping (the way they rank draft picks), and their plan was to take Mahomes if both fell to 11, but they were not overly aggressive because they had a really high rating on Lattimore too. Leave it to the Saints to be right, but also 100% wrong at the same time.

If you’re going to crush it in one sitting, the most efficient way is to fold it in half like a calzone. And if it’s thin crust you can even go in quarters shaped like a quesadilla.
